Fun Fact #2: It is possible to get golfers elbow!
Typically tennis elbow (lateral epicondylagia) involves pain on the outside of your elbow with everyday activities including turning a door handle, lifting heavy dishes/pots/pans as well as using a mouse all day long. Pain and inflammation in tendons is mostly caused when the tendon is overworked from repetitive movements and/or excessive overloading. Resistance training is currently the best way to rehab tennis elbow, as well as most other tendinitis type injuries. Each exercise is aimed at increasing the capacity of the tendon and reducing pain.
